Compare and Contrast

I decided it was time to do another comparison blog between Brennan and Bryce. I still find it so funny how some people will say they look alike and others say they look so different.

Here's a pic of both boys playing with the workbench while propped up by the Boppy. Brennan (top) is six months old and Bryce is five months old.

Both boys loved the water from birth. Brennan is on top. Both boys are five months old.

A little Johnny Jumper action! In the same outfit no less! Brennan is on top again and both boys are six months old.

I just took this picture of Bryce this week. He's on the bottom. Both are six months old again. 

I still think they look quite a bit different. Bryce just has those bright blue eyes, blonde hair, and fair complexion. I think someone mentioned something once about their noses looking alike and I think that might be true looking at some of these pictures. Either way they are both tons of trouble, but I love them to death!

Better Late Than Never

Not sure there's really much use in posting this now, but I wanted to have here just to remember what things Brennan was liking on his last day of preschool. I asked them these questions right after he was done with school, but just never got around to putting the answers onto his picture until now!

I just wanted to share this here too (finally) even though it's been on Facebook for a while now. It only took us six months to get a picture of the four of us together! A friend took this one a few weeks ago at church. So glad we finally have one!

Our Little Rock Climber

Trying to play catch up here on the good ole blog!

We have lived in our house for almost 7 years now. Not long after we moved in, Kyle turned the little closet under our basement stairs into a rock climbing area. He used it a little when he first got it done, but it's gone pretty much untouched in a long long time. About two or three weeks ago, Kyle decided to let Brennan see what was in there and let him have a go at climbing the wall. Kyle ended up moving some of the holds around to make it a little easier for him. Brennan was pretty scared at first, but it only took a few tries before he was climbing to the top completely on his own!

Seriously the cutest video ever! I just love how proud he looks when he gets to the top!

Kindgom Rock

I mentioned I spent last week working at Vacation Bible School. For the past several years now I have lead the singing for our church's VBS. We attend a small (at least in comparison to what both Kyle and I were used to) church and our VBS usually has about 55-60 kids. Even though it's not a huge crowd, I always enjoy getting to do the worship with the kids.

In the past, Brennan has been in the nursery during VBS, but this year we decided to let him try out a "crew" with the preschoolers. He was the little 3-year-old with the 4-5 year olds, but he did such a good job. There were a few tears because I also showed a little movie each night to his class, so I had to come in and then leave again, but overall I was so impressed with how well he did. Kyle came and helped run sound the first two nights, but then stayed home with Bryce the other three nights.

I only have one picture to share, but I just think it's adorable. Brennan looks so little I think, but I love how he's paying such close attention to his teacher.

It was a fun week! Brennan loved playing games each night and has been wearing his Bible Memory Buddies chain around every day since VBS ended. I have such good memories of attending VBS as a kid and it makes me so happy that he's already forming great memories too!
